Received my box late last week for my bedroom - I wasn't expecting a HD experience that I would get from a Blu-Ray, but I must say this box and Freeview HD do heavily surprise me! The FA-Cup at the weekend was the best experience I've had on ITV now that I can actually follow the ball clearly and have a similar experience as what I enjoyed on BBC HD. This box is just fantastic, maybe a little pricey for a single tuner, and now that I've just learned that Sky Player and possibly BBC iPlayer are going to be accessible for the unit in the future - bring it on!

Basic set-up is a breeze, letting you simply select the resolution of the screen, aspect, audio options and so on, and running a scan to detect channels, which was done in no time at all. The EPG gives you seven channels on the screen in 2-hour blocks, which you can scroll across or down to get more info.I have Samsung 40" lcd television,, the picture quality on HD is very sharp and crispGoing to watch england tonight my first match in HD.Very expensive for just 2 initial HD channels but in the long run I am sure they will add more and more HD channels, here's hoping anyway! I wanted to got HD route but didnt want to pay subscription or have to put a satelite dish up.Im lucky to live in the Northwest one of the first regions to go HD.Still waiting for extra (interesting!) channels to be added, only got BBC and ITV so far 4HD is coming very soon and 5 HD later in the year. At least I can watch the world Cup in HD now.Very clear picture on HD,very happy so far,Just found out there should be be a software update later this year enabling you to record to the box via your USB. Received yesterday.HD PICTURE mostly superb...watching the winter olympics on BBC HD fantastic as are alot of the other offerings on this channel. It's costly and the lack of a built in hard drive for recording may put some people off, but for cutting edge picture quality, freeview HD without a monthly fee, think how much money you will save in the long run.
