A Lloytron digital photo frame is a picture frame that lets you view photos without printing them. They range in size from seven to tweleve inches and with most digital video frames you can view the photos as a slideshow often with a time interval that can be varied. You can also use them to send photos to your printer.

Multimedia content can be found on some digital photo frames. This might include film footage recorded from a digital camera, MP3 audio files, MPEG video files and some digital photo frames can also display text files. Some frames can add photos over the internet form RSS feeds, from email and via photo sharing websites.

Digital photo frames normally show the pictures straight from a camera's memory card with some model of frames having internal storage. Some models come with a USB connection and/or wireless bluetooth technology to upload pictures.

The majority of seven inch digital photo frames display images at 430 x 234 pixels. Some models stretch the width to give a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9 but this can cause a significant distortion. Speakers are often built in so video content with sound can be enjoyed giving you a brilliant electrical experience.

So what do digital photo frames consist of? They have three main parts; the LCD-panel, the PCB and the frame. The panel will either have an analogue or digital interface and will vary in size. The PCB is the core of the digital photo frame as this contains the device's software.
