Simple to install and MUCH better reception than with the strip aerial supplied with the radio. Signal is variable when on the move, but I live in a medium sized town, not in the big city, so any reception is a bit of a surprise! Much better when stationary. My only gripe would be the length of the cable - I have a very big car and the aerial has to sit about 1/3 way across the roof of the car, which looks slightly daft.
