The Sony WAHT-SA2 is a fantastic piece of Home Theatre equipment that allows you to reduce the amount of wires you need to hide when using a 5.1 or 7.1 Speaker System. The kit enables your rear speakers of the home theatre kit to be independent to the main home theatre S-AIR compatible DVD/Blu-Ray unit. This is done through the signal being transferred wirelessly to a receiving unit at the back of the room. The WAHTSA2 removes some of the overall wiring requirements and also can potentially allow better placement of the rear speakers for maximum audio impact.
The Sony WAHT-SA2 is compatible with Sony Blu-Ray, DVD and Speaker Systems in the following series: DAV-DZ680W, HT-IS100, BDVE300, BDVE370, BDVE870 and any other device supporting the included EZW-T100 transmitter module.
