The Samsung PS43D490 is Samsung's latest take on 3D Plasma Technology that brings rafts of improvements over its predecessor. The PS43D490 features new bezel technology as found in all new premium televisions from Samsung this year. Samsung classes this model as a 42" + 1" Television. This is due to the design dimensions of the television are equivalent to a predecessor and with the new bezel technology, Samsung has been able to add another inch of screen viewing into the dimensions.
