The Sony KDL-32CX523 uses Sony's new processing chip X-Reality which not only improves the performance of High Definition but also Standard Definition and videos provided from internet services including BBC iPlayer and DemandFive.
This LCD Television from Sony also features support for Freeview HD among normal Freeview broadcasts. Freeview HD allows you to enjoy BBC One HD, BBC HD, ITV1 HD & 4HD (more HD Channels available in the future) in high definition for free without the need for an external Freeview HD box or a satellite receiver.
The Sony KDL-32CX523 Bravia Television incorporates BRAVIA Internet Video which allow you to have access to wide range of applications from interactive games to additional content including BBC iPlayer, Demand Five, Eurosport Player & Love Film. BRAVIA Internet Video now also offers Qriocity, a video on demand portal from Sony that allows you to stream your favourite and the latest movie releases straight to your Television without the need to pop out to your local movie rental store and then repeat the journey to return the discs. Qriocity also allows to watch the content you choose to watch in High Definition and access a wide range of music content that you can stream throughout your home. Sony's Internet Services; Bravia Internet Video and Qriocity can connect to your broadband internet either via Ethernet or via Wireless, integrated into the television.
The Sony KDL-32CX523 allows you to make free video and voice calls right from your front room with the inclusion of Skype™ software.
