Like many Hotpoint appliances, this dryer has a clean white finish. The dial and button controls, which are located at the top of the machine, are clearly marked and easy to use.
The H2D81WEUK can handle up to 8 kg of clothes, which is enough for the laundry of most medium-sized families.
A specially designed wave drum and paddles gently lift laundry, creating an air cushion around your clothes. The result is gentle drying, keeping fabrics soft while reducing friction. What’s more, this model comes with an optimal temperature thermostat which reduces energy consumption when clothes are dry – protecting them from high heat.
Choice of Programmes
Hotpoint has included 18 programmes on the H2D81WEUK, giving you plenty of choice for your load. Programmes include:
High Heat / Low Heat / Cottons / Synthetics / Delicates
The high and low heat settings mean the temperature can be adjusted to improve the effectiveness of the cycle. For example, you can prevent damage to your delicates by using a low heat.
As a condenser dryer, this machine will cool the warm, damp air it creates when in use and collect the water in an internal reservoir. This container is easy to access, which makes emptying the water simple, and a handy LED indicator will tell you when it’s full. Plus, the filter is removable, making cleaning it a piece of cake.
A bonus of opting for a condenser dryer is that, unlike vented models, there are no limitations on where you can store it in your home. This makes it suitable for a kitchen, utility room or warm garage.
